just got back from kwikfit, apparently what i thought was a loose exhaust bracket isn't, it's the cat that's shot. any suggestions where i can get a new one, other than MB of course.
is it an easy diy job or should let someone else do it.
also, any ideas where i can get a worshop manual.

Is possible to empty the pot of catalyst, ist'n necessary open the pot, is sufficent to blow the pot with a steel bar until break and extract the ceramic interior.
The car go normally without the interior No CATALIST (the diesel catalitic pot isn`t catalitic is stooper particles.
