Plastic Parts of W210

Hai members,
I use to own W124 and i notice that now the newer models do have plenty of plastic parts and it's easy for this parts to break especially the speaker cover and all the plastic parts that using clip on. Does MERC trying to cut cost or their just simple follow the JAPANESE way of doing.
Please keep the the quality and WHAT SAY YOU ALL? Does you guys agree with me?

I'm not having any problems with the plastic parts on my '96, other than some broken door panel clips. This isn't a Japanese trend, but rather the entire worldwide industry.

I actually prefer the clip-in parts to the old ways of doing things. It's a lot easier to work on the car, and certainly easier to assemble it.

I used to own W124s, too, and don't see any more plastic on W210s.
