Hello Benzworld- first post. I just got a well loved E320 T that is flawless except that the top part of the attena cover is broken off. Do any of you know of a good source to get a replacement? I am sure the dealer can get it but I wouldn't mind a salvage part or something simular. I used the forum search but did not find anything for this topic. Thanks, I'm lovin the big wagon!
Update- the dealer price for the cap is $110.76 so if anyone knows of a place to get it for less that would be great!

This week, I saw another two E320 have the rubber part of the antenna cover off. It's happening to more E320 these days. Of course, the warranty is over. It must be a good business selling replacement part for MB.
Mine was same. Had it replaced under warrantee with luck. I know with time it will go bad again. Another cheapy parts MBZ is using like many other parts.
I am debating making my own, maybe from a cheap pen or something simular. I'm sure I could get some Desert Silver touch up paint- or just paint it black. Is the OEM part plastic?
Hi, how does one get the antenna replaced under warranty? I still have the extended warranty. It is supposed to be the best according to my service adviser. But he said that no warranty covers cosmetic parts such as sun visors, cup holders, GPS antenna rubber stub, etc. Only mechanical defects are covered. So how do you guys get it replaced under warranty?

See if this is the part you are looking for. The same is made-out of plastic and it cost over $100. at MB Dealerships. it is very easy to DIY and you can buy in diff. colors.
