Just take the bottom plastic piece off, remove the reservoir cap, open the radiator drain plug ( it's on one corner and you inscrew it with your hand), drain the coolant from the radiator and reservoir.
Close the drain plug and fill the reservoir up to the full level and fill the radiator until the fluid reaches the top where its visible. Leave the reservoir cap off, start the engine and turn the heat on full blast. Add coolant while the motor is running keeping the radiator full. Do this for about 15mins. Put the reservoir cap back on and you're set. I used a gallon of Mercedes fluid and the rest distilled water.

is there no extra coolant reservoir in mercedes's? i am used to taking the reservoir off to drain whatever's left in there.
also, is there an engine block drain plug somewhere??
I think there are 2 plugs, but I didn't mess with them. I drained the radiator, filled with water only, let motor reach operating temp then shut off motor, drained and refilled with water/coolant.
