Hi .
I have just bought a black 1996 E230.
The car is perfect except for the two front interior door panels.
the grey leather on the doors are worn and cracked on the hand grips.
does anybody know if they can be redone or if it would be possible to buy good used ones???

Mercedes parts system may supply handles separate from door panel.

The door pulls are available separately. The local dealer wants $75 for each in black MB-Tex. I don't know if they're available in leather. Of course, you will have to pull the panel to replace the door pulls. Get some extra plastic clips while you're at the dealer, since you will break a few, even if you're extremely careful -- which you must be, or you'll separate the clip mounts from the inside of the panel.

I have looked it up and you are correct the door pull/armrest are seperate.
now im looking on ebay for some
