W210 E320 1996 Cd Stacker

hello all!!

I have a problem with my stacker ever since i bought it...

the original stacker that was in the car was water damaged (i had bought it like this ).. and would not work at all..

so i bought a stacker from a Car wreckers and fitted it into the car. (genuine mercedes stacker)

now when i try to play a cd, the cd screen will just flash with 1 1 (meaning CD no1 and track no1 i think)

and nothing will play..

is there anyway to fix this problem? cheers!!

you should verify that it is indeed functional. if you have friend with MB who can
perform quick swap/test, that would be great. wild guess....verify that the CDs
are placed into the trays correctly....try diff CDs as well.

i will try to fiddle with it some more...

i thought it may have needed to have been reset or something..

i got it too stop flashing by pressin the seek and track buttons but even then its only showing 1 1 and still no sound..
