trying to upgrade the looks of my '02 e320 sport with 17".
I'm interested in a staggered look with 19" monoblock amg.
I saw a set of 19" on ebay with 19x8.5 ET46 for the front and 19x9.5 ET48. Will these fit on my w210? Is it true that larger offset pushes the wheel inward?
What offset should I look for for this size of wheels? Also, I noticed that the front well doesn't give much room between the tire and the spring. I currently have 235/45R17.
the offsets of these wheels will not work on your car 30-40 min and max best probably would be somehere in the middle I'm runing 38 now with no problem 18" 8.5 fornt 9.5 with 235/40 and 265/35 if you wil go 19" tires should be 245/35 or 235/35 and 265or275/30 would be the best option for you, hope it helps go to tirerack.com if need more info
thanks Samas. I want to have an aggressive look where the wheel is flushed or in-line with the fender. My current 17" with 235/45 is inside the fender. Did you use the same offset for your staggered wheels?

Thank you. My next mod is to install H&R springs. I'm still doing my homework to see if i need to change the spring pads or not. I think I want a 1.5 drop max. We will see how it comes out soon.
supply the info and the folks at tirerack will supply the suggested info to attain the drop desired.
It's too bad that the schwab site is only a demo that runs in I.E. but it gives you some idea on wheel looks and rim size views, just not how the drop feature works. Les Schwab Tire Centers - Virtual Wheels Online
