I have already done a search here to find this answer & cant seem to, so Im putting this post here to see if there is something small I am not doing. I have a 97' E320 & need to replace the light in the Climate Control Panel. I have devised small tools to release the unit, but how in the world do you pull it out once the small tension locks are released. There is nothing to grab on to pull it out. It probably has never been out, so I realize it might not just pop out in my lap, but is there something else I can do...a trick or process to get this puppy out? Thanks in advance for any info at all...this has been a great site for help! Mark
i believe the technique is to remove the unit below it first (radio?), then reaching
beneath to release a couple of fittings. check braingears first and if you fail to
find the video, i'll try to dig one up.

The climate control pulls out just like the stereo. Use the same pulling tools. Look for the slots in the lower corners.
