| Any time the CEL is on, read the codes to see what turned it on. It may or may not have anything to do with replacing the battery. Once you know what the CEL code is telling you then you might be able to say that it is because of the battery change. As for the remote not working, check your manual for the resync procedure or the keyless remote. That is odd but may have been caused by the battery being disconnected. You may have to resync all of your seats, sun roof and windows as well...
