Question Help Installing Led Taillights Plz

Hi All
I was wondering what do i do with the two little boxes filled with chalk when i install my taillights. And is there a way to seal the lights so that water wont leak into casing.
Please suggestions or answers are all welcome.
Thanks

Those are looking a lot like resistors to balance the circuit -- some big clunky ones at that.
That would make sense because the LED voltages need to be a lot lower than Incad. bulbs and the electrical system will immediately generate the (infamous) Lamp Malfunction Errors if we don't get the right impedence

ahhhhhhhh...... the infamous "Lamp defective" in the cluster. Gotta hate that. I was looking at a pair of these for my '97 E420 sport on Ebay. Anyone have them and can tell me how decent they are and how they look?

from the pic, there are 4 row of LED, but they don't seem to be "align" properly.
(1st row and second row has different gap...) Doesn't quite cut it as the real thing in newer MB, in my opinion.

Installing LED taillights

The two boxes come with double-sided tape. You just have to mount them somewhere. Just don't leave them dangling because they are pretty bulky and might break something. I installed these on my W210 and love them. Simple plug and play! I attached a pic of my ride in the following forum: http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w210...o-gallery.html

Good luck with it...

LED Taillights

Hey Jeff,
I actually got them on ebay. It was an ordeal though. The first set I ordered came with a broken led plate. Sent that one back and waited another week for the second set to come and it was broke in the exact same area. Sent those back and after another week, they accidently sent me two sets, one which was perfect and the other was broke. It was a seller by the name of X3Racing. They work and look good though.
