Washer Bottle Heating Element

In checking under the hood I noticed that the hot water hoses to the window washer bottle have been disconnected and plugged. Is there any technical reason for this? Before I reconnect them to see what is going on I thought I better ask![:0]

RE: Washer Bottle Heating Element

There must have been a leak in the Metal lines inside the washer tank..and the Owner just bypassed the washer lines..seen several done...Themetal lines leak coolant into the washer tank..makes a mess on the windshield..and Tough to locate unless pressure tested

RE: Washer Bottle Heating Element

Thank you Mark. My experience has been with G-Wagens, so this is new territory! At this point I will leave them disconnected.
