What to look for? 1998 E240 Wagon - Benzworld.org

Hey all,

Going to upgrade my 300TE to an E240. FOund a nice 1998 E240 wagon. Can anyone tell me what to look for and any faults to be aware of? its got 143000kms. Alot of life left?

I use E320 wagon for my small business and occasionally use 7 seats on vacations. LOVE IT. Would be even better with diesel, but those never made it to US.
The 240 series is considered too small for Americans. Have seen those sold really cheap, because of that. I think engines should make it close to 300,000 miles with proper care.
