I think that is factory built, not sure though. They had a couple of those things at the dealership I bought my car from 4 years ago in Atlanta.

They're factory build, for the Austrian market, I saw them in the magazine long time ago. They cost much more than stock Mercedes when new, and were in high demand (for the Europe market)
More or less a shop that custom Mercedes for Mercedes, and considered as OEM product. Just as AMG one years back (before Mercedes bought them).
I think they're nice: good combination of handling, ride, luxury, and ultility.

El Camino is a pickup. I have receipt from dump yard on 2200 lb load of concrete.
Don't think this Mercedes would carry that much, but it is nice option. There is another thread about it here.
