Hi,
Is W210 equiped with adjustable steering wheel by default or is it an option?

I went through a number of second hand offers from year 2000. It's difficoult to find a model with such feature.

Shall I look for a younger model? (2001 or 2002)

The 01 I had did have this feature, believe it was standard.

Standard on my '99. Are you looking in the right place? It's part of the driver's seat adjustment unit on the door.

Was an option for both the UK & Pakistan in 1998 as far as i know. Probably the same for the whole world as well.

Mine's not adjustable. It's a '96 E230 Elegance.

All the US W210s (that I've seen) are equipped with the electronically adjustable steering wheel. Out of curiosity, was there an option to have a manually adjustable wheel (like with a lever underneath)?

My US model 2000 E320 has the adjustable steering wheel, controls on the door with the seat adjustments controls. I believe it was a standard option for US models.
