I have 2000 E320 and at night when I turn on my lights, all the lights on my dashboard turn on (radio control light, window control lights) except for the air condition control light. I basically can't see the air conditioning display at night. Whats the problem, is there a bulb that needs to be changed??? If so, how do I change it (where is the bulb)? Or is it something else like a fuse???
There should be bulb on the bottom in the center. Mine does, most have them, but since mercedes changes there parts very consistently, you might not have one. i have also seen them without the bulb socket. if your does not have that, your bulb will be either on the main board or someplace internal. i would be carefull with that. I have busted one that i tryed to take apart (it was broken in the first place buti was just curious to see whats inside, and its easy to bust open)
There is a light bulb that needs replaced. You need the radio removal keys to pull out the Climate control unit. The bulb will twist out (I think) and is located on bottom side. Once you have it out, it will be pretty easy to see what to do.
