I just bought a set of Projector Headlights and Foglights and read through the thread about taking out the Headlights. I wanted to see if anyone has changed their foglights and how much of a procedure it is? Any info would be appreciated.
I, too, just purchased projector foglights - will try to install them this week provided I get all my Super Bowl prep done - so would be interested in others' experiences. Changing out the bulb was a pain in the ass, so I am hoping once the car is up I can just just pull out the whole unit & replace like a plug & play.

Quite easy a task ....if you have short forearms and
constructed like Gumby and no lift.
Reasonably simple if you use a floor jack to lift the
side you're working on at least 6" or more.
Open hatch beneath bumper/fog lamp.
Reach in and unplug electrical connection (if you can).
Unfasten single bolt which is located along the side of
the housing...closest to centerline of car.
Above the top of the lamp housing are two locater pins
along the top corners of the lamp, and which mate to
sockets on the car. I recall they were rubber sockets.
Carefully (!) wriggle the housing free and tilt
sideways. Lower and out the hatch door.
If the wiring is still connected, be careful...and
once you can see the plug/socket, you can wedge it
free. A small flat blade helps.
Reverse to install.
Good to point out that it might help to spritz a shot
of silicone on the locator pins of the new lamps.
Why? If aftermarket, these pins can be a weak point
and can break off if you are inserting them into the
locator sockets. The silicone eases the effort
tremendously.
Caution: aftermarket light may also be weak in the
spiral gearing tolerance. You may want to test this
out and to ensure full travel while in hand.
Socket with extension helps.
Needle nose pliers helps.
Small flat blade helps.
Time: 30 mins for the first one.
5-10 for the second one.
I just got my foglights in the mail today from CA (I live in NY) and one of the white adjustor assemblies were in the bottom of the box rolling around !
Does anyone know if they are broken or if they pop back into place.....it appears that they are broken as they will not set back into the housing !!
I am soooo Fin pissed off because last week I received my Projector lights and 1 of the projector anchors were cracked and rolling around in the assembly !!!! I had to send them back for an exchange. It appears that I will be sending these Fin foglights back too !
