sidelight bulbs

i am trying to change my sidelight bulbs..however i cant remove the bulb holder from the main housing....do they twist/turn/pull out or what.......has anybody any ideas as i dont want to break the holder trying to remove it..many thanxs

i understand they are also called parking lights/stand lights

I recently changed the front side marker light. Followed the instructions in owner's manual and had no issue.

Le'me have your email. I'll try to find the repair-CD that may have instructions and will email it to you. From what I recall, there is a plastic knob, right behind the fender (easily reachable). You pop that and assembly comes out. No screws. Anyway, I will try to locate the CD; if not, I will copy the instructions, word for word, from my glove compartment manual and email it to you. We are talking about front side marker, correct?

nick do these lights twist or just pop out?

I believe that you need to twist and then pull.

Hey Nick, newbie here, you think you can still forward me a copy of that step by step instruction to replace the lamp for the side marker. E320 98. Appreciate your help.
