Front Windshield

My front windshield has cracked, and needs to be replaced. It appears to be non-repairable due to the crack size increasing due to the cold air during this winter time here in Los Angeles (I know...it's Los Angeles, but it's cold in the mornings...)

Can anyone give me an idea of how much this goes for through a Mercedes dealership and/or through a 3rd party vendor?

Hi Cho,
Should try OEM, cost about $300 Candadian plus installation, The glass store can order an OEM Glass
for you.
I had an after market glass installed July-2005 chipped already .

What I had found is that with the aftermarket glass
ther are more noise enter the car ex: drain drops is louder, moer road noise and it is hotter or colder compare to OEM.
I work in a body shop specilized in german import.

That is a good piece of information and I do believe your observation is correct. That would apply to all Mercedes glass.
