i use a big force on it and i bang it only one time !
Thanks for your explanation. From your pictures, it seems that it's mainly stuck in the center of the disc instead of the back of the disc. I guess you did not have any concerns of damaging the hubs either. Thanks again.
p.s. I like your humor. "Conan the barbarian, disc flying into your mouth...."
From this posting, you can see that there are discussions about the difficulties of removing the disc.
It seems that it's not that difficult for you by using your approach and the big hammer of yours. One day, I'll have to do it. I'll say about 20K more miles on the dial. I'm prepared.
JMHO, but the safest way to remove a brake disk is the way I described in the DIY post.
If you must use a hammer, two points of note: DO NOT REUSE THE ROTOR. Once you have hit it with a hammer (even if you don't get it off) it is now a doorstop. Second, wear good face protection (not just eye protection, but a whole face shield). Rotors can break and the pieces can come off of there with enough velocity to penetrate skin.
Lastly -- and I can't implore you strongly enough on this point -- if you don't know what you're doing, face shield or no, just don't do it. Whacking blindly away with a hammer, you may end up damaging other things; paying someone else to get the stuck ones off is usually cheaper than paying for the other things that get broken in the process.
Take care and enjoy the ride,
Greg
