i think your glove box has 4 screws(2 on the top and 2 below) it is covered by a plastic cap. not too visisble though. unscrew it and pull the box. on the upper portion you will see the light and the push-pull mechanism.
I did remove 4 screws, but the box felt as if there was something holding it. So I did not want to force it. The button you spoke of is my problem. It's broke, so the light never turns off. I rather have no bulb than have the light on all the time. But thanks for the response, I'll try it again.
I just removed my glovebox to replace the cabin filters. There were six screws I removed, two on each side facing you and two up into the light housing area. Then you need to give it a good hard pull to get it to come out. I was afraid I was going to break something the first time I tried it. Once it's in your hand, you'll be able to replace the light. Wonder if the light just needs to be connected? You need to disconnect the light when you replace the filters. Maybe someone never hooked it back up. Consider replacing your cabin filters while you've got the box out.
