00 e320 wagon - child seats in 3rd row? Yes or No?
We have a 2000 e320 wagon and would like to know if child seats or booster seats can be used in the 3rd row. I checked the owners manual and it does not mention child seats back there. It does say no one over 6ft. Also, the manual stated the seat belt has a special child seat feature and if you pull it all the way out it would slowly rachet back in and hold the child seat securely. The 3rd row belts have that feature. Has anyone used the 3rd row with children, about 3 ft tall and 35 lbs. Is there a minimum size for the 3rd row? Would MB give you an answer to such a question? Children would never ride back there over 40 mph.
