Diagnostic Scanner Tool

How many of these tools are available in the market and what kind of price range are they? Anything under US$1000 that can point us to the right direction for any MB problems?

If so, could you please provide links?

a store near you,the 94169 obd2 scanner.Reads ,erases,reads I/M readiness for smog tests,reads pending codes, CAN compliant,reads vins of newer models,sturdy,easy to use.

Um, since he used the term "diagnostic" I'm guessing he's looking for something to plug in to the star diagnostic port like the dealer uses, not just an OBD-II reader.

I've never looked into it, but I know that for other makes that sort of item is available on ebay. Probably pirated, but who knows.
