I've searched and asked around about Brake Bleeding for relatively new Benz models, but nobody has a direct answer for me. This is my situation...
I asked a local mechanic to bleed my brakes because I noticed that it was taking a lot more pedal pressure to do regular stops, even with new brake pads. I thought it could be a problem with the cylinders or that there was air trapped within the oil. But the local mechanic (who bleeds brakes for regular cars) told me he couldnt bleed Mercedes brakes because it required a special tool that attached to the "booster?" under the hood that acts kinda like a vacuum. IS THIS TRUE? If it is, then I have no choice but to have Authorized Benz Dealer do it, if not, I'll try doing it myself using a hose.
I have done all of my mercedes using the two person method and recently using the power bleeder. The attached thread should provide you with some essential information.

You did not state what kind of vehicle. I'm assuming it is obviously a 210 as, well you are in a 210 forum. The brakes on a 210 E-class can be bled just like any other car and does not require any special tool. A pressure bleeder is a nice addition for your mechanic to make his life a little easier but it is not a necessity to do it. It's just like any other car out there. He is feeding you a line. The only MB models that require specialty dealer tools are those equipped with the SBC brake system, and that definitely has to be done at the dealer. Skyking's 2 person method will work well for you.
