I just recently bought a 96' E320 with 125'000 Miles on it. I have drove it about a thousand miles since purchased and it runs and drives great, thing is though is that my exhaust under the passenger side emits a smoke off it after been driven for a while, i wiped what looked like a grease off of it which cut down on the smoke but it still almost smells like burnt oil,but my engines not burning oil. I drove it back 180 miles doing about 80mph and haven't lost or used any oil nor' tranny fluid after a thousand miles. i haven't talked to the dealer yet so any help or insight would be appreciated.

Did you run over anything? I would take it to an indepenent repair shop and have them put it up on the rack so that you can take a look where it might be coming from. It would not take a lot to make smoke.
