Hi all,
I noticed that my brake rotor discs are quite worn. Can anybody help me by giving me the exact specifications and dimension when new, and the limit of allowable wear so that I can decide whether the discs needs to be changed or not? I also need a link to a parts dealer who can provide me with a dust-free pads (perhaps Axxis or EBC). I tried ordering it from a few dealers here, but none of them has the parts that I wanted. Thanks in advance guys.

RE: Brake rotors and pads
The minimum spec for thickness should be stamped on the outer edge of the rotor otherwise any brake shop or dealership can look it up. Some brake shops here in the US have free brake inspections. I would have them check it out and give there ideas of what your car needs and then take it away and do it yourself. If they are the original rotors and if you changed only the pads at your last brake job then you might plan on replacing the rotors.

Thanks for the reply E-Klasse & Jakester. The Brembo spec in their website seems to give a different dimension i.e. min thickness 22.4mm(front) and 7.3mm(rear). I'm not too sure whether these are the original specs though. Just to confirm with you guys, the Brembo P/N is 08.5178.20(Front) and 09.6845.10(rear). Is this correct?
