CD Changer installed - 98 e320 - Benzworld.org

FYI,

Hooked up my Alpine 6cd changer today. IT IS plug and play.[:)] Plugged it in. Put the ignition to accessory, put the radio on, pushed CD and it recognized it. Played right away.

I've never had to have a changer programmed into any of my cars either,... i guess it's just a myth or something.[:D]

Not always plug n play. Not totally a myth neither. :-)
I have 99 and 2000 E320s and adding a changer thing is
not consistent in terms of whether dealer assistance is
needed....or not.

Too bad there aren't enough of us living near each
