Error Codes/Check Engine Electrical - Benzworld.org

Hello everyone,
I have a 98 E320 and the "Check engine electrical" message is displayed along with the check engine light being illuminated. I was wondering how to go about getting the code from the computer. I have a good deal of mechanical background working on cars, but this is my first MBZ.

PS where is the best place to get a manual for this model of MBZ?

Take it Auozone or such and they'll read the code for you for free.
