Stone Guard Yellowing

The stone guards in front of the rear wheels on my '00 E430 have gone yellow and I want to replace them.

I can replace with new MB units, but I've been told to expect the new ones to yellow too after only a few months. Anyone have any experience with them?

I can also simply remove them, have them painted, or replace with the newer "clear bra" material available at lots of aftermarket tinting places.

Thoughts, comments, experiences? Let me know.
