struts or shocks e320 2000

hi
just went to meineke to fix my brakes
cost me $600 wondering did i get screwed?
got new 2 new rotors and ray best brakes.
mechanic told me i also needs struts for about the same cost shall i do it or find somewhere else

You got $100 to $150 worth of parts at most and were charged over $400 for labor. Brake jobs on the Mercedes are quick and easy.

Shocks are $75 to $100 each for good ones. They would probably put a cheap set on to make more on the labor again.

Yup you got taken advantage of no different than your dealership. There is no way you need new struts or shocks on a 2000 model year car unless you got 150,000 miles on it or so.

As for brakes, The dealership quoted $1,200 for rotors and pads for my ML. I bought the parts and installed it myself for under $300!!!

It is easy to do... you just need the will and desire to learn and just do it
