please help with amg monoblock

I have 97 E420, and looking at amg aero 2 monoblock. the problem is those wheels came off sl class. the tire size is Pirelli Supersport 245/40/ZR18 on the front and 275/35/ZR18 in the rear. tire rack recomending 235/40-18 on front and 265/35-18... do you guys think it will fit to my car, or I need to do somethink....

RE: please help with amg monoblock

Check the off-set on those wheels to see if they are in the 30s. Those tires are going to be too large so you should drop down to the recommended sizes that you had listed to avoid rubbing.

RE: please help with amg monoblock

Hi,

I have AMG 18 Monoblock on my E class
When I brought the wheels, I had 235-45-18ZR at the front, those where rubbing against the arches, now I have 235-40-18ZR, which are perfect.

I suggest sticking with the suggested size.

RE: please help with amg monoblock

E-Klasse is right (as usual). Though if your offset is between 30 & 40 you should be ok since the rolling radius of ones you are refering to is only a few percent larger (up to 2.5% deviation from original is acceptable).

RE: please help with amg monoblock

The 275's will be fine on the rear, the fronts will be too large as suggested.
