Can anyone tell me the step by step process to change the Cabin Air Filter?

Also where is it located, what are the pro's and con's when this filter is/isn't changed?

Behind the glove box as the referenced post says. Glove box has to come out. Not a very hard job. Make sure all the fasteners are out and give it good tug. I find mine needs to be changed every 15,000 miles.
