I've never changed pads on any vehicle myself, so I'm just at the ignorant line here.
My son has changed brake pads on different cars and he says he should be able to change mine. Question is, is there anything drastically different between changing the pads on a Chevy vs a 430?
Hell be able to do it EASY!- you are lucky for having a DIYer kid[:D]...i recommend the ff. for the Brake service: AXXIS Brake Pads(HIGHLY RECOMMENDED- Dust less pads, Rotor Friendly, OEM Quality, Ceramic or Metallic type, CHEAP PRICE vs OEM(lots of dust-annoying)- ive used AXXIS Brake Pads on my BMWs and they are FANTASTIC! Id use them on all of my cars, you can get them through Ebay...dont forget to get Brake Sensors & Anti Squel Compound.
Just did a separate response on brake pads. It's so F'n easy to do. It took me about 2 hours for all four corners, and that included going inside to get more ice cold beer. Always remember: Every car project goes smoother with beer(LOL).
