E430 rims - Winter tires questions

I have a 1998 Eclass, During the summer I use the Sport rims which I love !
During this winter I have a set of e430 rims with Blizzak tires, these are factory rims, when I mounted them on my eclass, I heard clicking coming from the rear??? and they seem not to want to turn??

Are the lug nuts going to far in ?

I am so confused why i can't use these fine rims.

I ended using my old stock rims with the blizzak.
PS. the e430 rims were giving to me by a buddy on the west coast who was using them on the 99 eclass 430??

Will these work ? Do they have to mounted a cetain way ?

Any help would be appreciated !

Thanks!

RE: E430 rims - Winter tires questions

Count the number of turns it takes to tighten the lug bolts. It sould take 6 turns. If you are turning them more to get them to seat in the other rims then they are going in to far.

What size and width tires are winter set?
