you see i am thinking about importing a e 220d from germany.the taxi models on mobile.de are nice and cheap.i wonder if anyone has any experience with the model and wants to say something.
ive had several MB diesels, i had a 190D and a 300DT both were dead reliable. Honestly, MB is one of the world's BEST if not THE BEST Diesel engine manufacturer out there. Just like any car make sure to inspect the car prior to purchasing(especially for Rustsince the car is from Germany) and im sure youll enjoy YEARS of driving this car. You cant go wrong with any MB Diesel...Good Luck
Great engine, but a little underpowered for the chassis.
If its economy and durability you are looking for, than you could do alot worse than buying the E220D. There shold be plenty to chose from, so take your time (Germany is littered with old -local- cars).
