E300 foglight bulb replacement

My psngr side fog light bulb has burned out. I removed the block heater access panel but can't figure out how to remove the bulb. Anyone do this recently that can help? TIA...

There are access doors under the fog lights (on the front splash guard) with two plastic, quarter turn locks. I replaced mine using the brail method; just pay attention to the position of the bulb (and your hand) when you pull it out. I'd take a picture for you but someone broke my car for me and it's at the body shop; maybe for six weeks[:(!].

I'll try again. I can get acess to the light housing but can't figure out how to get the bulb out. Thanks...

Just checked alldata and was reminded that there is a cover on the back of the housing that, if I remember correctly, just pops off. Then pull off the wire. I forget how exactly the bulb is held in the mount. It may be a twist lock.
