Vision Plus Bulbs

Hi all,

I have a 2001 E320 AWD and I'm looking to upgrade the headlights with Phillips Vision Plus bulbs. I looked in the manual and it looks like I need to order (1) set of H7's for the lowbeams (1) set of H7's for the Hi Beams and (1) set of H6W bulbs for the smaller middle lights. Can someone confirm this?

This is what I used on my 99. I highly doubt yours is different.

Don't forget the fog lights, they are H1's.

H1s in my 99 E320. Just put in a pair of Philips in there last week.

Hi, Does anyone know if the H6W bulbs give the "blue light" effect ? If so, anyone know brands and prices and retailer ? I currently have factory Xenon light and would like the smaller lights towards centre of car to match with main driving lights.

The Philips Blue Vision bulbs for parking lights are blue tinted bulbs but you dont see this when they're lit. http://waltermitty.net/cgi-bin/i/MB/W5Wbulbs.jpg When powered on, they give a more whitish hue and not the yellowish one normally sees.

Have you guys ever seen the Xenon match H6W, and H1's on an E. I also have factory HID's and have been thinking about matching the other lights. That Hoen company says they make them but I can't quite make up my mind. It's important to me not to spend $75 on the lights and not have them make a difference or even worse look blue. [?]

Where can you get the Philips Vision bulbs? I couldn't find them in retail auto parts outlets. And how much should I expect to pay for them?

I got my H6W from powerbulbs.co.uk. The prices, at the time, were reasonable compared to the stealership.

What about the Sylvania / Osram Silver Star bulbs? I've read a few places that those are rated higher (plus the just sound like they should be on an MB). Any thoughts?
