I was just involved in a collision Friday and need to know if my car recorded the final moments before the impact. And if so How do I get at that info. Thanks.

RE: Do 210s have "Black Boxes"?
If your airbag deployed, the airbag controler will have your last 15 second of speed and braking information stored in it.

Fortunatly the airbags did not deploy. After a decade on a Rescue Squad I'm actually scared of Airbags in lower speed collisions. Pretensioners didn't fire either. To bad I won't get any data.
My uncle is a mercedes mechanic and a while back i took my car into his shop to get something fixed, i don't remember what. Anyway when he plugged my car into the computer and it told him about how i was driving. The airbags had never deployed but he was able to tell me about how i had been driving the car with some real detail. I think these cars record all sorts of driving details to be used by the mechanics.
