18" Rims & Tires

I have silly q. What is the right (ET) offset
should be for 18" x 8.5 rims which will fit w210 for a nice ride. How about tires? Any suggestions?

Thank you!

RE: 18" Rims & Tires

The right et for the car is 35mm and if you want to keep the tire of the same diameter you should go 235/40/18 you can also go 245, it makes very little difference in the diameter.

You can go higher in the back, like 265/35 and have a 235/40 in front. Mine are 18x8 ET32 in front and 18x9 ET35 in back.

RE: 18" Rims & Tires

I went 235/40 on the front with 8.5x18 with ET31 and 265/35 on the rear with 9.5x18 with ET35. No rubbing and no grinding needed.

Like E-Klasse said you CAN go 265 on the back, my other (AMG) 210 came with that setup from the factory but on 8x18 (front) & 9x18 (rear).

RE: 18" Rims & Tires

Yeah they will, but I wouldn't reccommend it due to the harsh ride, and rubbing issues.

RE: 18" Rims & Tires

i have 18x8 et 35 offset with 245/40/18 all around and because my front fender is not rolled they rub in the front on any medium size or above bump.

the ride is great though and the look is even better
