LED bumber marker lights

I've changed my front bumber markers to clear lenses and wanted to use amber LED bulbs. Has anyone tried this? Did it trigger a dead bulb warning on the message center?

It will trigger and there is virtually no light output from the LED throughout the lense housing.

I've looked into LED's for everywhere to install on this car and they just don't work. If they work they aren't bright enough.
