W211 Wheels on a W210

Can anyone tell me if stock W211 Sport wheels will
fit on my 2000 W210 without any major modifications.
Also, how do you think they would look?
I have a deal pending with someone who just bought
an 04 W211 and is getting aftermarket wheels and
tires.

The W211 wheels use 14mm lug bolts the W210 has 12mm lug bolts. The holes are larger on the W211 wheels so you can mount them with the original 12mm lug bolts but that may not be a safe way to go. You will have a gap around your lug bolts leaving less surface area touching the lug seat. [:0]

The heads of the bolts are 17mm on both so the ball seat that is below the head looks like it is the same. The hole is larger so there is less bolt touching the wheel in the seat.

Even though the head size is the same (17mm), the ball seat diameter of the 14mm lug is visibly larger than the diameter of the ball seat of the 12mm lug
