I found a gorgeous, fully loaded '99 E320 4Matic; it has, as far as I can tell, every conceivable option except the air contour seats - and only 36,400 miles! They even put brand new Contis on it because it's been Starmarked. My problem is that it's about $6000 more than any other '99 I've come across - though they have a minimum of 20,000+ more miles on 'em, and i don't think they've all had this level of equipment. Does this seem to be a reasonable amount to pay for such few miles/high level of equipment? Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

does it have parktronic? xenons? heated seats ? that is an awfully low amount of miles. some times it is worth a little more to pay for piece of mind. but ask yourself if you are going to keep it for long enough where the low miles will benefit you or not.
Yeah, I would hope to keep it a while! I planned on keeping the the '97 a long time, too, 'til the body cancer started showing up - current estimate to repair is $1500, and that doesn't include the wheel wells where it seems to be starting as well. I wouldn't mind fixing it, but I'm afraid this is just the start! The '99 in question would be a trade-off: the V8, which I love, for the 4Matic which would be real handy here in Northern Wisconsin where we have 9 months of winter and three months of tough sledding...I know it doesn't have Parktronic, I don't know about the Xenons, but it does have heated seats, headlight washers, sun roof, 6 CD changer.
