I am installing an FM modulator to use with my XM radio. My car is a 98 E320. The antenna connector for the stock radio is a different type than the American style antenna connection on the fm modulator. Is there an adapter that I can buy to complete the installation? Where can I buy it at? Thanks

RE: antenna adapter
You may have to cut and splice in the adaptor. I have seen FM modulators for CD stackers done this way at the back of the radio becuase the connections are not like the US type.

I use a FM modulator with the stock radio. You really need two adapters. One to adapt the input of the modulator into the radio, then the second to adapt the antenna plug into the modulator. I found a kit at WalMart that had both adapters in the same kit. It was Metro XM radio adapter kit. There are many extra plugs and sockets arrange in a hub connector. Once I determined which ones I wanted, I cut the rest off.
