I'm relatively new to this forum. I own a 2000 E430 and a few days ago my when i went to remove the key from the ignition, the key came out, however, the piece that pushes in remains down and the computer says remove key. the car does not start. Would anyone have any experience with such a matter? the ignition is stuck in the down position and will not push up again. I have tried removing the battery and still it does not push up.
