Hi I just bought a used 2000 E320 Sedan and I have a question about the warranty. It is scheduled to run out in August, but is there any way to buy an extension to the warranty, if so, do you know about how much it would be?
MB sells an extension before the first year runs out, afterwards you are at the mercy of aftermarket warranties, some are good, others bad, some go bankrupt, others jerk you around with used parts, or will not pay dealers prices. The 210 was a good car, I purchased an extended warranty from MB, since my ML was just a piece of crap.
Odly I have had only one warranty repair on my 01 210 wagon. Put some money aside each month in a bank account, if you dont need it it will be a benefit if and when you do. These people dont loose money on the policies they sell
You probably won't qualify for the Starmark warranty, however u surely can get warranty from your local Benz dealership. I think they will cost u about approx. $3500 (US).
