99 E320 with stock headlights-switch to Xenon?

I want to know if you can swap a Xenon headlight assembly in place of the stock haedlights?
I know alot of Mercedes parts are NOT interchangable.
It has two modules,one is for auto leveling,which my car does NOT have.
Is this a straight plug in swap or is it a retro-fit?
