Can anyone advise which is the best diesel auto matic to buy

Hello everyone,
After a 10 years of currently owning a Range Rover, I suddenly have the urge to own a Mercedes, E or C class, Turbo or non-turbo I hope someone could be so kind to advise me. My needs are I tow a caravan once a year around a 400 mile trip and I travel to Newcastle quite frequently, I'm disabled and need an automatic. I would appreciate any feedback you can give me as I know nothing of these type of cars, thanks all.[:)]

For you i'd suggest a late E320CDI, its fun, fast and economical. However if you are on a tighter budget, go for a 300Turbodiesel.

Both models are available in saloon and estate.
