Jet engine sound
Has anybody had this experience? with the ac on max cool the engine sounds like a jet getting ready for take off....I don't know if this is normal or something wrong. 2004 clk500

Mine had a nasty whistle to it, then I played with the rear seat vent control. it took the whistle away.

To Be Cool or Not Cool.. That is the ? Due to design considerations and small duct area.... the law of physics dictates the CLK air system to be similar to a Wind Tunnel!
Turn down the fan speed and enjoy the ride!

What I am refering to is step outside the vehicle and listen to the engine when the ac is on max cool and when it's off of max cool, listen for the difference. I wasn't refering to the interior noise, which isn't too bad. with the insulation of the vehicle you might not notice the sound of the engine from the outside.
