New 2004 CLK500 Owner!

Hello BenzWorld Community,

About 3 months ago I purchased a 2004 CLK 500. I love the car and already adding new items to it. Its fast and sleek. I currently live in Wisconsin, US. About an 2 hour drive from Chicago. I was curious how this car handles in the winter. Should I drive it most of the time or not most of the time. You see video's of Benz's out on a snow track and what not but I don't want to put this car through anything it is not suppose to be. Please anyone that knows a lot about this car to let me know.

Thanks,

Jim Goldbeck

You have got yourself an all-year ride, provided you have good winter tires.

You get a 'real' winter where you live, I understand - unlike the UK, where winter tires are rarely used.

Cong. I have the same model and year. Never drove it in the snow since I have (2) SUV one 4x4 and the other AWD. I would not risk it since you guys get heavy snow up there. You can always take it out one time around the block to see how it does.

2hrs from Chicago. That sounds like your in or near Milwaukee
