Hi Jagg4

Welcome to the forum - and please use the UserCP above ^^^ to add your details...

You have a CLK 270 CDI - a diesel. I'm sure a diesel owner can give you a steer on this problem. It's normal to read the fault codes for this type of fault - but you've got to get into a workshop for that. Unless you buy yourself a OBDII reader.

Here's a list of fault codes.

Thanks...

Ive left it to cool down and it still wont start.

Can you direct me in a OBD2 reader i can purchase online? Or i have a obd2 lead i used with my old audi using vag com. Can i download any software for this lead? or will this lead not work?

Finally where is the OBD2 port on the car exactly?

Many thanks

There's lots on eBay if you google OBD II + Mercedes. (they're not cheap)

The socket is located under your steering wheel. Look next to the red bonnet release handle to see a black plastic cover which flips down.

When my low fuel warning comes on I can generally go another 25 - 30 miles. But I wouldn't rely on that Range indicator for the last few miles!

I guess you could well be out of fuel here....
