First impression coming from an SLK230... wow, so smooth... 40mph on a u-turn turn is not a big deal anymore [;)]
I had a great run with my SLK till a GMC Denali decided to pay my driver's side a visit.
So now i am hoping for great things since i have quite a bit more room to work with, and already i have quite a few questions for the experts here which i'll post shortly
There she is at the dealer when i picked her up

No Regrets!
*chuckle* I just went the other direction... W208 to R171. [;)] And I would have made the same observation: handling is significantly better. I wonder how much of this is the adjusted front suspension (three link) and steering changes.
It is a beautiful car, though. I just needed the drop-top this time. If the W209 is anything like my W208 was (8 years and almost 125K miles), you'll have a great time! [:D]
